Loretta, saw her live just a few years ago...


an an outdoor bluegrass venue, grate stuff, they had a bit of a family cornpone act but she belted out CMD, I was like "Is this autotune"? couldn't believe it. Seemed pretty live to me.

One of the better lineups that night, the reconstituted bluegrass supergroup Hot Rize, followed by Loretta Lynn followed by one of my favorites, Peter Rowan. Peter got on stage and remarked "I've seen the Pope (who was in Washington DC at the time) and Loretta Lynn in the same week"

I had no problem letting some of the older fans get a good view.
